It's an excellent review with all the information potential buyers would possibly need. Thanks!

So Kult of Athena and Balaur have parted ways?

So Kult of Athena and Balaur have parted ways? I'm afraid so. Not sure if this is the end of Balaur Arms, as the brand is probably owned by KoA, rather than by OTC.

Eh, I think everything about that sword is gorgeous *except* that grip. It's too...oval for me. I wish they'd gone with a more tapered design, but oh well. Blade is gorgeous though.

You may not like it aesthetically but I like how it feels in the hand. Admittedly, I have large hands, so someone with smaller hands might disagree.

It certainly could be the maker of Balaur Arms. Looks to me like the fit and finish might be little higher quality on this sword than BA in general, but at the same time, could also be that Reliks is showing the most flattering pictures only. It's an interesting sword, that's for sure. You were right. It's Balaur Arms, via OTC. Confirmed. That was a keen observation.

Not to revive a dead an buried post, but just in case someone else comes looking for the "Sword of Courage", it is made for Reliks by OTC. It is a handsome XII design and seems to be put together and finished fairly well. Mine was purchased dull on purpose, so can't say anything about cutting performance (but I do have a Weapon Dynamics Computer analysis in my review of it).

I’ve been looking for a sword like this. The comparisons to the Albion Knight this sword actually looks better, the guards are longer and more proportional to the blade. I’m very interested

Had a problem with a rust spot on the first sword that I did not want to polish out...sent me another one no fuss.
