I don't think there is actually something inside that lol If that is even a period painting. Looks like a fancy spittoon.

img /img tags in brackets work just fine The attachment feature is under the reply button but images are limited to 1mb per image, 20 images attached to a post. Is that you or your Da? I recognize the patch on his shoulder. I just cannot remember the unit.

The photo perhaps most notable here because of the Randall #2 dagger on his hip.

Since some green berets were assigned to MACV SOG. Was he both? More background on the very used photo is that it was the 1965 period when Robert McKee was a captain for the Team 40 Vinh Binh ARVN ranger training groups. In this footage, you can see him after about the seven minute mark. footagefarm.com/reel-details/sports/judo/vietnam-war---color-1965-american-ranger-adviser-of-macv-team-40-at-vietnamese-ranger-training-center-14oct65 His son Wes posted to an info group for the team macvteams.org/team-40/ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The Green Beret of the SOG were US Marines Corp. McKee was of the US Army Rangers training the ARVN rangers (Black Panthers), as outlined. Left the US Army as a Lt Colonel. Again, there is a lot of info out there for the MACV and developments leading to the SOG years. McKee's tours kind of predate that.

That is interesting about your Da. Thanks for sharing. I thank your Da for his service. I greatly appreciate it. I did not think that you were that old. 😹

I also know that MACV SOG was comprised of SEALs, Rangers, Green berets, Force Reacon,LLRP, ARVN Special Forces, US and ARVN military intelligence and CIA. Thanks for the information though.

You asked random, so please be not too disgusted; Holger said its OK. June 2019 hewas in real bad shape, especially his feet; this is NO fat! He in fact was lighter back then and not in the same pain level like today. Nevertheless this problems occured often after even short walking, not to speak from being on festivals or so. I will pray for him.

It is a shame what happened to her. What is worse about it is that her daughter was in the vehicle as well. I am glad that she rebounded as is now on a hit television show.
