Wow. You are an old fart. 😹😹😹😹 People in their twenties call me old at forty-seven. Thanks for sticking around that long. 😹😹😹😹 Best to you and yours. Keep joy and laughter. They are important. When I was a young twenty something, I served with Vietnam Vets who seemed ancient. Now that I'm in my fifties, forties doesn't seem all that old. Wait until you guys see 60+ year olds and they start looking like youngsters. Something I’ve been observing lately, especially in lines dedicated to seniors and was one of the first to receive a COVID-19 vaccination in my area.

I may just live for another one hundred years. It could happen. I actually have a lot of respect and admiration for you older folk. I have learned a lot from people your age. I have also now joined my da in calling the twenty somethings kids.

Eating a hornworm. and in black and white lol That's dope. I always wanted a tarantula. Or a scorpion. Something that looks dangerous, but ideally isn't venomous. The BB gun of arachnids

Abandoned Sears building at Greenbriar Mall. I was here in October 1981 when they cut the ribbon on the mall. Its not just a dead store, but the passing of a lot of personal memories and experiences. Nothing left but memories of people long past. I outlived it. Never thought that would happen.

In our fifties we seem to be too young to be old and to old to be young. It is the same for those of us in our forties. Man. I hate being the bloody middle child. 😾 😹😹😹😹

Ahhh, everyone's favorite place to contemplate one's direction in life and the on-going evolution of the universe ... ... or maybe just wonder how far you have to go to get the next roll of TP ....

Nothing left but memories of people long past. I outlived it. Never thought that would happen. Ya, tell me about it. 😥 That is the saddest thing about getting older, especially at your guys' age, the older you get the more you see those you know pass on. I am 47 and I have seen 4 people that I personally knew pass. One by suicide, one by illness, one by accident and one by homicide. Those are just the ones that I know of and were around my age or younger. Now that I have cancer, those who know me face the possibility of losing me. I continue to fight and keep my joy and stay happy. I may yet overcome through being blessed with continued life on this earth. We do not choose our time or place if our end, but we do get to choose what we do with the time that we are given. I choose to spread joy, love and peace.

Spectrograph of an aqueous solution of chlorophyll A and B mixed together. The peaks are the wavelengths most absorbed and the dips are the wavelengths least absorbed (most reflected, essentially)

My da got a kick out of the first one. My surgeon, oncologist and all of their nurses got a kick out of the second one. Laugh and enjoy, mates.
