Random Army photo, but good shot of a sheathed Kabar... Mine was stolen, I remember mine well and miss it.

Here's one from me, this was taken last year at my town's local libary. I lent out a few of my swords for display during their Renaissance/Medevial month. I set the display up to show the different types of swords of each period, from earlier swords with the Classic Medieval to later swords with the Munich. A few days a week during the event, I was asked to come down and give a light lecture and Q&A for those interested which turned out to be quite a crowd actually. Overall it was a good time and a nice way I could give my sword collection some use in the community.

Would it change your mind to know that it occasionally eats mice? Nope... its nature. Should have seen what the cat of Holgers mother dragged in frequently when the little killer still was alive. Cant feed dead stuff to spiders (camel spiders or scorpions maybe, dont know), it is like it is. Anyway, live feeding of vertebrates is strictly forbidden under german law, so our best friends spiders for example only get locusts and crickets.

Large terrestrial types like this one do in fact actually scavenge on dead prey sometimes, I know mine has before. But generally yes you are correct. I don't often give it(Not sexed) vertebrates as it's a lot messier and smellier

You mean you never smelled half-digested rotting meat coming out of your pet's tank? Worst thing i ever smelled was after a spring/summer when euro hornets built a nest in the walls between my balcony and sleeping room; you heard them gnawing away the construction foam at night, and the big things were flying around me when i hung up my washed clothes on the balcony. In autumn, when the death of the nest was near, the hornets threw out dozens of larvae and pupae out of the nest; common behaviour. Soon the whole balcony was covered in rotting insect offspring and dead and dying adult ones. A awful smelly but nevertheless interesting lesson in natural science until i cleaned everything off. And the birds helped a lot; especially the crows.

3rd rearrangment...
Sorry, but forget it.
If I can only post images from Websites, I can't share this. Where are my good, old [ img ]- options? Havn't been here for more than 5 years and some things seems to have been changed...
I should stay away from this thing called "internet"... ;)
