I'm really liking the new search function. If I wanted to look up, for example, the Hanwei Oda Nabunaga katana on the old site using only "oda" as my search criteria I would get 20+ pages to slowly click through. Now the same key word will pop out a sidebar with better indexing and it's near the top of the list.

That use to bother me on the old thread, and I found it true with other vendors also. I’m liking the new thread more. I did find that when I did a broad search on the new one and they show only two at a time, instead of scrolling down until I found the item(s) wanted I change the number of items to appear on a page to maximum, they still show only two at a time but I can speed things up considerably by using “find” in my browser at that point.

Starting too.
The part I don't like is inventory is still missing. Latest response I got was something like "we can't sell it, even if we have it, until we get it hooked into the new site". Something about screwing inventory/supply chain. That's reasonable. But also an annoyance.
A pair of bracers I was about to buy on the old site were on sale ($49 -> $22). I held off while deciding which other items to bundle with them, reduce the shipping. But the day I decided to pull the trigger, they pulled the old site. So now I can't buy it. Been going back and forth with them for a week, with 3 days lags in responses each time. So now, even when I know the part number, they can't sell it to me.
They must be getting killed, working out all the kinks.

Since this is still within the topic of the new website I thought I should point out that two of the items that were on my "waitlist" showed up as in stock. I never got an email regarding them the way they used to do with the stock number emails, so I thought I should mention it in case they got in anything someone else may have wanted. I mean, after I made my order of course...

Nice! I only have two items on my waitlist, and nothing there. But I'm glad you posted, as I checked out the "New in the shop" button and it looks like it's working now! I always enjoyed perusing new items on the old site, so I'm really glad to see it return.

I'll just straight up say that I hate the new site.
I used to hit it multiple times per day. They're lucky now if they get one out of me a week. I hate it.

Hate is a strong word, but I certainly don’t like it. And like LoE I would love going to the old site and just browsing. No more, I seldom look these days. What a bummer.

Progress is not always progress.
Not only am I not browsing them (much) anymore, I can't even get responses. They used to be nearly instant. Can't buy goods I know they have in stock.
They're good people, and a good company. I still have a very high opinion of them. I hate to see it.

I believe I’ve found an error in KoA’s new site. Yesterday I started to place an order. I don’t need anything, it’s that my debit card will expire soon and I haven’t used it much so I thought that I’d make a purchase with it. They took my card once for lack of use and I don’t want it to happen again. Looking through their <$50 merchandise I decided on a belt, that’s something that I could put to use. The belt was $20.85 so I put it in the cart and went to check out. My tab was $85.23 because they were going to ship to Costa Rica. I want it to go to the USA, not Costa Rica and there is no way to change the address for billing purposes. I could with the old site. Customs will add another estimated $30 to the package bringing the $21 belt to about $110. I complain about the high price of my freight forwarder but it’s nothing like that. I wrote to KoA with the reply they will back to me. If they don’t correct the oversight they have lost at least one customer. I'm not keen on their new site anyway.

If you go to My Accounts -> Addresses, do you not have the option of separate billing and shipping addresses? I don't use that option, but it looks like it's available for me.

Got it thank you. On the old site there was a flag of country with a drop down menu and I selected. No more.
