Purna shipped the sword to me today so now the waiting game begins, at least my Albion Squireline Viking arrives tomorrow :) Wait a minute, you are very into viking-era stuff now. A couple of months ago I thought you were turning Roman🙂 Gotta say, both periods have amazing swords. I collect my two favorite time periods Roman and Viking :)

I collect odds and ends. I wish I had a more defined collection.

The migration-era Lombardi swords look dreamy with that asymmetric pommel!

It's better than I expected. Very nice! Yes it came out amazing and feels "alive" in your hand when you pick it up.

Handsome looking sword with a rather noticeable distal taper. It seems that there was indeed a subtle recurve in the blade after all. Now you have both this sword and the Albion SL Vinland, how about a brief comparison?

Looks awesome! So did Purna really get this to you in just a month? Because I see your first post was Feb 22, and that's a pretty quick turnaround, especially since it had to get shipped over here from Nepal.

When Purna started work on my commission, he estimated 10 days to make the blade and 20 days for shipping. Obviously can't say about this Viking sword, though.

Yes Purna works really fast and shipping usually takes a week to get to me sometimes it is lucky and I get it in 3-4 days.
