Messers are among my very favorite sword types. You have a very nice collection there. Congrats, and thanks for sharing.

Love landsknecht emporium. Own 2 of their pieces myself.
I stalk LE's posts online and recognize some of their custom pieces in your collection. Very nice!

Thanks guys. I have messers from other makers which surpass these in level of decoration and finish, but for handling and cutting performance, nothing tops the Landsknecht Emporium examples.

I would love to see those! And some more picutures of the antler handle Gustav please, if you don't mind. I was normally never into messers before, but these gave me some messer-fever.

Sure thing, I have some recent pics on my laptop, will post them as soon as I get home. Very nice collection, I am digging the leftmost large custom messer. Thanks, it is based on an example sold at Fricker of which very thorough measurements were made. The guys at LE created an exacting replica, it's less than 3 grams off the original weight and nearly identical in measured dimensions.
This is the original below:

What is the name of the single hander in the middle of the picture?

3 grams might be the added loss from pitting...wow great swords!

Here are my Pavel Moc and Nielo messers next to the LE ones. The Pavel Moc is based on an orginal, but the stats and dimensions are quite different. The Nielo is based on one of the Rothenburg messers and appears to be a quite true replica based on available data. It is in the middle of a grip re-wrap. These are both nice, but the LE really shines when it comes to handling and cutting. The LE guys really understand blade geometry and balance. The Pavel Moc and Original: The Nielo and Original: 3 grams might be the added loss from pitting...wow great swords! Thanks, that's a good point too! I had not considered it. What is the name of the single hander in the middle of the picture? That is their 'Adorian' but with a clipped point instead of the regular slant angle, and with antler grips instead of wood.

I was considering getting the pavel moc one. How is the blade geometry and stiffness on that one? Is the handling and balance good?

Thanks! They look great! Love the brass/bronze finials on the Pavel Moc one.

I was considering getting the pavel moc one. How is the blade geometry and stiffness on that one? Is the handling and balance good? It cuts fine after some 3rd party sharpening. It came with very spotty sharpening. Balance is also pretty good. Blade is not as stiff as the longer LE blades because it is narrower and less thick. The original was also narrow, but had substantially thicker blade spine near the guard. It's definitely still a nice sword for the price. I would recommend it for sure, its a good value. Just wish the stock material was thicker to give appropriate spine thickness.

Hello, please help - i need some tranquilizing feedback! My crazy man just bought a sword from this company on Etsy, its called "Ahren Kriegsmesser", with a scabbard, and it was 1400 Euro! We had a serious discussion, because i find that thing crazy ugly - please someone tell me its at least worth the money from the craftmanship point of view! AAARGH! Attachments:

I don't know the baseprice of their Ahren kreigsmesser, but the Falke type that looks close to it is already 900 so with scabbard and byknives that seems correct. They are very good in what they do, and seem to be historically correct (not an expert myself on these). Seems like a good purchase in my opinion.
This seems to be a review of the blade you bought:
