Well, it looks like this thread has run its course, as it should. I want to thank everyone that participated. And thanks for introducing me to some new (to me) artists and songs. It was a fun thread as I intended it to be. Still say I didn’t see it going from music to harems in the afterlife. But that’s how it goes sometimes. 😏 We now need to pick a song to end this thread rightly...played by harem girls.

All I would want is 'Amazing Grace' on bagpipes---followed by 'Highway to Hell' played at eardrum busting level. I hope you had it this way, RIP Christain!

Leave it to a newbie to drag up another ancient post. Well as long as I'm here.

At the graveside burial part of the service, I want 4-6 bagpipers playing the following -
Amazing Grace Scotland the Brave It's a long way to the top if you want to rock and roll

Those song choices for the funeral service sound like they would create a truly memorable and unique atmosphere. Bagpipers have a way of evoking deep emotions with their music, and it's a beautiful choice. "Amazing Grace" and "Scotland the Brave" are classic selections, while "It's a Long Way to the Top if You Want to Rock and Roll" adds a personal touch that reflects the individual's spirit. I can relate to your quest for meaningful funeral ideas, as I've been grappling with the loss of a family member as well. It's a challenging journey, and finding ways to celebrate the life of our loved ones becomes so important. While on this search, I discovered , a website that offers eco-friendly burial options. It's worth exploring if you're interested in sustainable choices.
