Just got this idea from a post Rufus Scorpius had on another thread. Always said I wanted this to play at my wedding and funeral. Never got married but don’t think I’ll be getting out of the other one. Queen- Another One Bites the Dust. Then followed by what a friend suggested, Comfortably Numb by Pink Floyd.

Eagle by ABBA. I've loved that song for over 40 years and it's a mind journey every time I hear it. And Broadsword by Jethro Tull- because I've been a Tull fan for roughly the same length of time. And Broadsword...well it's in the name, isn't it?
And the Three Stooges theme. Because it's awesome and I'll be dead, so no need to be serious. Laugh a bit. And go on living, my friends

The album live was a whole side
exit music, as a lullaby

A buddy of mine died in his twenties. This was played at his funeral and it felt perfect.

Good choice, Seth. Avett bros are great.

No music.. just a large explosion...

Actually, I would want my funeral to look like this (after the service and music):

No music.. just a large explosion... With body pieces flying all over and landing on the assembled mourners? Of course I’m assuming they are all mourners. Could be wrong there. 😏 I think some people at mine would be there to just make sure I’m really dead. 😵😈

I want a sputtering sound...due to friends pouring my cremated ashes in the vehicle gas tank of my enemy.

...and I want Scarlett Johannson to be there, in a black dress, weeping.

Honestly, I don't care what anyone who survives me does to memorialize me, or not, but if I had a vote in the matter I would want an up-tempo, mariachi cover of Kansas's Dust in the Wind, followed by Blue Oyster Cult's Don't Fear the Reaper (also as a Spanish language mariachi cover). Barring that, this is also an excellent choice:

All I would want is 'Amazing Grace' on bagpipes---followed by 'Highway to Hell' played at eardrum busting level.
