I paid $500, plus $50 bucks for shipping (the box was not $30, it was $20). You are owed the cost of a replacement (plus the shipping and box costs), and I assume that price is somewhat higher than what you paid for it second hand.

Kult of Athena just got a really big shipment from BKS, so they obviously have boxes. Honestly, I think they have forgotten about me and don't particularly care. ^^^^ I can see one possibility here for where your box went. It went back out with someone else's order in it.

...it might be fun to use the funds as a base to commission an even better sword... ...from an entirely different sword maker. ...whos mages can craft with metal and understand box tech beyond the ken of mortal men. J/k. So very sorry to read about this snafu. I hope your property is returned in good condition and all is as it should be. Ouro

I'm at the point where I can laugh at it too, but I am a grad student and I live paycheck to paycheck. So this is a financial loss for me. They have the power to ignore me, and based on what others have said about them, I am not in the least bit surprised. I cannot fathom how any individual person could even take the risk of placing a commission with them. My case is so aggravating because they claim the work is done! This isn't shipping on a barge over the Atlantic. It's making a five hour journey from Baltimore to Buffalo! These people are horrible businessmen. Unfortunately for them, I am a committed and determined person.

Seems like such a bad idea to not make things right in this business with such a relatively small market and increasing competition.

I honestly think they have forgotten about me. It would be absurd to ignore me when I have made it clear I have contacted the authorities.

I also received an email from Mr. Stagmer, but I want to have a couple drinks before I endeavor to read it. So I'll update on that later this evening.

Okay, so I read Stagmer's email anyway. Here it is without any commentary from me.
Hi Daniel,
You sword is being delivered via fedex air tracking number (redacted) It is disassembled as it was when you bought it second hand from Mr (redacted). You should receive updates from the fedex site and they have both your email and phone number. Package MUST be signed for.

so they didnt fix it? ask for shipping refund Well, I don't know. The guard on this blade is very wide, about 12 inches. It is easier to ship the sword disassembled, especially since it is a nut assembly. So he could be referring to that, or perhaps the sword is "as it was" when I bought it, meaning it was not repaired. I will find out shortly.

Or any kind of acknowledgement of the whole ridiculous ordeal, for that matter.
Also, very serendipitous how they happened to find a box immediately after you'd just told them about contacting the authorities...

I don't think that's a coincidence.
