How thick is the tang on the CS GIM? does anyone have a photo?

See if you can get this guy to repost his pics in PM, I don't want to disassemble mine. sbg-sword-forum.forums.net/thread/14644/cold-steel-gim-constructionScott Rodell says the screw welded on to secure the tang to the pommel in modern swords has never broken for him. You'll see this in nearly ever modern chinese sword unless it's a two hander, sadly. And the two handers usually also have it, just with 2 wood pegs through the tang instead of one.

no not a thing written on it, the pommel is filled 3/4 of the way with a metal.
