I've said it before, and I'll say it again....a H/T Lowlander greatsword. What a kick in the pants that would be.

I have a Hanwei Lowlander and it doesn't sag under it's own weight. Nice sword after I fixed the typical Chinese goofs.

1. Historically accurate rapier (with a blade that isn't way too short like almost all repros). 2. Historically accurate cinquedea. 3. Historically accurate shamshir.4. Historically accurate pugio. 5. Historically accurate... oh, you get the idea. While I agree with these, #3 is one I wish would gain more traction. Shamshir are beautiful instruments. Also wish there was a proper estoc on the market. I would buy that in an instant (44+ inch blade, handle that accompanies two hands, etc.). And also a DH odachi. If someone could pull off a high quality folded 48-ish inch odachi I would be genuinely giddy.

Definitely want to see some decent replicas of common Indian Subcontinent swords. Too bad there aren't really any, considering lots of decent modern replicas come from India, Pakistan, and Nepal.

Quick side note, I reached out to Windlass to ask if they'd ever considered carrying bare blades and fittings like H/T. Doubt anything will come of it, but here's hoping!

A production Highland broadsword blunt trainer with historically accurate weight and balance and an actually broad blade (not a rapier blade on an overbuilt basket hilt) that doesn't cost into custom-sword range.
and then I want a unicorn pony.
Danelli made a delightful custom one for a fair price, but the wait list was long and now infinite since they've closed up shop. Just when I found what I wanted... (I'm glad I jumped on the order and got mine when I did, but there's not much for me to recommend to others these days)

A combat qama from Condor. Carbon steel, fuller, no nut heads, walnut handle scales, 1.5 lbs., standard 17 inch blade They might make a 12 inch dagger to go with it. 4 inch hand opening, a little bigger than Windlass'.
I'd prefer a synthetic sheath for humid areas, but leather is more in their style. Not opposed to a vinegar or black finish, or even Condors faux-hammered look.
This should price in at well under $100.

If the "nut heads" are what I'm thinking of, yes, those are an ergonomic component of a qama/kindjal that contribute to its handling. So anything without them is arguably not a qama/kindjal and, honestly, almost debatable as an equally accurate gladius. That is, not very accurate.
