What are some swords you'd like the big manufacturers to start carrying? Please specify who you'd like to make each one. For example, I'd like to see a type XIX by Ronin Katana. Not only is Ronin very cost effective, but they have shown a recent willingness to explore different blade cross sections as seen in their new longsword.

I want Albion to make rapiers and sabres in their Next Generation line. Yes please. More high quality sabres. Would love to have high quality 19th and 18th century sabres and sword reproductions.

I still have yet to see a good one handed messer in general production, affordable and is historically accurate/ plausible.
The smaller cold steel messer has the goofy black coating and is not hilted like a messer.
The darksword messer is too heavy and its darksword. The heat treat may not be reliable?

Don't care who makes it, but some one needs to make a replica of Archduke Philip the Handsome's sword. Its an awesome Type XVIII. I'm inept computer-wise, so you'll have to forgive me for not posting a direct pic. But its the third sword from the top on My Armoury's page on Type XVIIIs. Such a beautiful sword, and it would be great if whoever made it could keep the color contrasting bands on the pommel. myarmoury.com/feature_spotxviii.htmlWindlass used to be a lot more daring in the different types of swords they made back in the late 1990s and early 2000s. So, its not like it would take some great leap; they've done it before. Wish they would resurrect some of those older models--Broadsword with Rain Guard, Renaissance War Sword, Sword of Frederic III, etc. Dream come true right there. Just be brave, and make models that are rare and neglected.

Have you seen the new condor Messers? They looked promising.

Not a sword, but something I feel is sorely lacking----a Scottish Lochaber axe! All I've seen lately are high-dollar customs and low-end India-made junk. Come on! Who wouldn't love a really bad-ass Hanwei/Windlass/Ronin/DSA Lochaber axe?

Even if it was just the axe-head, I'd buy one right now.

I think just about all the ones I'd buy if I could afford it and were willing to spend the money, are available already. But I do wish, as long as were on the subject, someone would made a really good reproduction of a U.S. Army M-1840 NCO sword. The current German-made NCO swords are flimsy, even though they have beautiful hilts. There are Indian-made reproductions but they feel like--dare I say it--crowbars. Never handled an original, so I don't really know what they were like.
I also would like to see a reproduction of a German infantry officer's Model 1889 sword or similar sword. Originals in pretty good condition seem to be available for less than or equal to what a newly produced sword would cost. WKC does not make them.

A Valiant Armoury Suontaka, yeah I know, I'm living in a fantasy world. That's going to go down in history as the sword that should have been but never was.

I believe first run was like $1100-$1200 but the 2nd run is gonna be a bit more expensive

Maybe now that he's started the craftsman line, he'll do the Suontaka again, this time from scratch. I know, chances not great - but knowing Sonny, it can't hurt to ask.

Even the payment went to someone else.
