Don't Follow is one of my favorite Alice in Chains songs as well...damn man, seems we have some very similar taste in music, Crazy Train is another badass song I love
I used to play Don't Follow with a buddy at open mic nights, killer song.

Nice, but I prefer guitars or church organ with J.S.B.

"Woll ihr das Bett in Flammen sehen?" ("would you like to see the bed on fire?") by RAMMSTEIN; this struck me some 20 years ago during a very bad time period, suffering serious heartbreak from my first long-time relationship... the raw energy of the guitars, combined with the machine-like beat, the very sexual hidden-meaning lyrics and the bridge-line "Sex ist eine Schlacht, Liebe ist Krieg!" ("sex is a battle, love is war!") fitted like a glove back then... ah, those old times... ;-) I see you have a good taste in bands Holg As for my favourite song...it changes every week to be honest but currently it's this, WARNING: Polish

The Doors - The End
Because it is haunting as hell and evokes cool mental images. Plus, the Lizard King is alive!

Not sure if you'd call these "songs", but anyways... and because I find them touching, for lack of a better explanation. Crocketts theme!!!!!!!!!!! NICE

Chuck miming a favorite of his early hits. This rates in the top ten of the period for me.
Why? because there are a handful of 1950s films that tell a lot of the big story up close and personal.
Chuck, T-Bone Walker, Carl Perkins, all part of the sounds we still hear today.
You guys would throw tomatoes if I brought up Sentimental Journey and Twilight Time, or probably even Louis Jordan stuff.
How about

And
Huge broadway/classical/ballad fan. I've always prefered songs that told stories and weren't super cryptic, and I'm classically trained (baritone) so I appreciate how well people can sing notes through all ranges.
That said I love all forms of music, including some rap, and lots of rock and alternative bands. But if I had to choose something to listen to for the rest of my life, definitely broadway.

No way I can pick one favourite, or even one favourite album. Or group. Or even genre. Nope.
Still, this is one that I might choose, amongst a hundred others:
As to why... it was the very first Rainbow song I heard, during my college years. I was hooked immediately.

Or, more recently this one. For obvious reasons... Arrr!

No tomatoes from me for “Sentimental Journey” nor “Twilight Time”. As for the video, I remember Miller and many of the crew (Hutton, Tex, and the Modernaires shown in the video) well, not to mention “I’ve Got a Gal in Kalamazoo”.

I don’t have a favourite as such, but like many. At the moment “What a Hell of a Way to Die” is very much on my mind. I miss my old buddies.
