And yes... don't get so hung up on gimei if the signs point to a legit school. We don't know if at the time they were desperate to sell the sword or some other potential reason.

The fittings that came with the Ishido, just don't like them at all. And they fit way loose. While I am not going to duel with it, I like knowing the sword is well put together and safe.
