Wow! Great list and comments! Stormmaster's custom sword smith list, Demonskull's vendor list, and Swingers sword reviews, all need to be together in a "Reference Section". Great reading!

Hello all! I'm new to the forums but have been in the hobby for almost 20 years. God, am I that old????? lol. I am on the commission list with brotherbonzai (Jeffery Robinson) and I am very excited to own one of his custom pieces of art! I was just wondering what everyone's thoughts on his work is? Thanks and I look forward to hearing your thoughts. Aris i don’t own one of his swords but I own three FableBlades that sport his bronze work (he and Brendan often work together on projects that have bronze fittings). FANTASTIC work. Also William Swiger mentions him earlier in this thread. I don’t think you will be disappointed.

I'll looking for a specific design for my blade.
If anyone can help me find someone who does completely custom orders than let me know.

Hey guys. Look I’ve always wanted a sword of my own. I love Training and flow of the art. Something about it feels calming to me. Maybe a past life or something idk. Always had a dream to forge my own sword in the winter snow of a foreign place with a language not of my own and just get it done. I’m not a blacksmith, I work the stone, and before that I worked with glass. I’m by no means a smith. But I just can’t wait anymore. And I’d really like to have some guidance. If anyone knows of a smith that would be willing to take on a worker for a month I’d really like to go somewhere, work during hours, and on my own time forge the sword I’ve always wanted. I’d be happy to work for free, and still compensate whatever was needed. I’d like to do this journey this year towards the end. And then come home back to work to carry on but with the other half of the penny I've been looking for. Just need a teacher or overseer, I’d fine my own lodging, and just experience a different world for this. And I’m a place that’s fitting and able to create such a thing. Being able to ask questions is key. It’s not a vacation persay , just something. Needed. Any help finding someone would be great. Richardroberts8727@icloud.com

I put him in the custom smiths section I thought this was the custom smith section? I saw the thread started in Japanese swords and came looking for this to let him he can move it if he wants. Have I misunderstood something here? If so I apologize.

Been searching through the list but does anyone know someone that does rapiers? Want to have some made for a friends birthday and he does actual sword fighting so they would be used regularly.

I heard good things about Jesse Belsky. (I don't have any experience with him but I think there were threads.)

So these are two major makers of swords I know of who are in Australia if you are looking to do a custom order or buy any existing ones. They also do bronze too apparently if you decide to make your order a bronze sword or spear: Talerwin Forge: talerwin.com/default.htm Jurkijevic Bladesmiths: www.jurkijevic.com.au/Mostly positive reviews from a little research I've done on google so far and that they have years of experience. Also Jurkijevic Bladesmiths say they can do sharpening services, repairs and parts manufacture for swords if you want to make orders for that. Their Chief Bladesmith also knows about swords in terms of bladed martial arts, having practiced it alot. Details: www.jurkijevic.com.au/services/With shortages of swords out there and so many being put on backorder that can't be shipped internationally just thought to help out anyone reading who wants to find some custom sword smiths in Australia.
