We need to stop holding Raven Armoury up as any kind of standard. They don't respond to communications and it is very hit or miss whether you actually receive what you pay for.

If you also add knifemakers you should add Ben Seward. His wait times are long but his blades are beautiful and worth the wait.

Aesthetically their stuff is great but I sent them an inquiry about purchasing one of their pieces back in oh 2010 I think it was and I got no response at all. I was genuinely interested because you can't argue that their pieces are very attractive but after reading dave's experience I think I dodged a bullet.

Has anyone had experience with Bronze by Jeff Robinson? Have had three swords from him. Still have one. He is an excellent bronze craftsman. 2 of the swords had blades from other makers with his bronze pommels and guards. The one I still have, he made the whole sword.

Hi guys. I may be brand new to sword collecting but I am a good judge of quality. Being a big truck and large mining equipment mechanic for almost forty years I know good steel when I hold it. My first sword is from Hanbon forge. It's a custom katana and was less $300. I think that they should also be included in the list. www.hanbonforge.com Thank you. Pete.

Hello all! I'm new to the forums but have been in the hobby for almost 20 years. God, am I that old? ? lol. I am on the commission list with brotherbonzai (Jeffery Robinson) and I am very excited to own one of his custom pieces of art! I was just wondering what everyone's thoughts on his work is? Thanks and I look forward to hearing your thoughts. Aris
