What a fantastic list stormmaster. Thanks for compiling and sharing it. The length of this list is a bit overwhelming to a beginner like me but too much information is way better than not enough.

Hey stormmaster Thanks for adding me. By the description it sounds like I'm inactive, but in reality I'd consider a commission if I'm passionate about the design, and I have a bunch of one-off swords already built and available to buy listed on my site. Cheers and good work :-)

This is probably too much to ask but is there any way of easily finding if any swordsmiths are in reasonable driving distance of me? I live near Erie Pa which means I'm in between Cleveland, Buffalo and Pittsburgh, about 100 miles from each.

What about those brothers who now work with Sam Salvati on the Awe-Me YouTube channel man at arms? Mathew and Kerry I think their names were. I remember they used to post here prior to YouTube fame and did all sorts of commissions, including the SBG custom leaf blade

Those are some fantastic swords Brendan. I especially love Sword of Whispering Woods. I assume that if the price isn't on there it's not available. Can I ask how much that sold for? Longclaw is awesome too but then again they all are.

I absolutely adored the sword of the whispering wood. Even the name is just beautiful.

What about Michael Cthulhu? His stuff might be right up someone's alley.

Maciej Kopciuch also does custom scabbards per request. Also add Tomek Kowmal and Andrzej Mikiciak, both are very skilled sabermakers based in Poland and you can contact them via facebook

I'm still looking for someone who has Kit Rae style swords but of better quality. I really love Raven Armoury's Mournsword but I am more interested in $1000 swords and the Mournsword is $5000.

For kit Rae "feel" but better quality... I would say that Raven Armoury is the gold standard. Hollow grounds expertly executed and such. Brendan Olszowy has done some wicked looking recurve stuff too but unless I am mistaken I don't think he does hollow ground.
Both of the above are going to be in that $4000-5000 range.
John Lundemo has done recurves as well but also up there in price.
You could probably get some beautiful pieces from Wes (Lonely Wolf Forge). He recently did an awesome fantasy recurve thing (see the new acquisitions thread). Wes's pieces run around $1000-1500 and have an organic feel to them. Solid as tanks and Wes is known for producing "god cutting" sharp blades.

Thanks. I checked out his past works. "Butcher's Blade" was fantastic. I wonder how much it sold for.

that one was probably over $1500 to maybe $2000 as a sword like that with more simple fittings would be around $1000
