Totally. I'm actually impressed that you guys had even heard of them. Some of those are pretty obscure. Didn't think you were that hardcore.
Don't tell them about Naruto. We don't need these noobs clouding up the fandom
Hell no, man! There's barely enough to go around as it is, not gonna split what's left of my share with these jabroni's! I better not see so much as a breath mentioned about Bleach or One Piece. Hard enough to keep those out of hand of weeabos(did I spell that right?). Gotta keep them pure and underground.

I love both. The other two, Saga of Tanya the Evil and KonaSuba are also great.

I enjoyed Re:Zero and have been interested in Overlord. Overlord, as an anime, is pretty great if you can ignore the kinda terrible CGI in season 3. A lot of fans (primarily those who've read the light novels) were borderline offended by season 3's CGI and came up with some wild theories to explain it.

Perhaps one day someone who doesn't use it will make berserk without it

I thought so too. I love that they made Kazuma such a scumbag. The creepy pervert hand thing is still funny every time I see it.

The spin-off Overlord series actually makes fun of the CGI in their latest OVA description. It's good that they are acknowledging it and making fun of themselves at least.

Yeah. I think they understood even while making it that it was bad, but it wouldn't surprise me one bit if season 3 got shafted on the budget (how many shows get more than 1 or 2 seasons, after all?) and they had to throw together whatever they could to finish the season.

Speaking of terrible CGI, how 'bout that Arifure? I can't take it seriously because everything just looks terrible.

What's really depressing about Arifureta is that the anime was actually shelved for about a full year because the author was unhappy with the original quality. Which begs the question: if this is what the author accepted, just how bad was it originally?

I feel like the South Park guys would do better than what we have now, so I can't even guess.

So I'm continuing Vinland Saga still. On episode 11. Or I've watched 10 episodes. Awesome show.
Looking forward to seeing what happens with Thorfinn

I love the juxtaposition of the Viking Age imagery and the Japanese language being spoken. It really helps sell the anime/saga-esque tropes that pop-up (I love Thorfinn's Naruto running).

Yea same here. Sure it had room to be more accurate but the way I see it, using history really enhanced the anime aspect, amazingly

There's an absolutely fascinating part (which should be coming up soon) where the meaning of love is discussed by a monk and Canute. It's an intriguing mix of Eastern/Buddhist philosophy juxtaposed against the Western/Christian idea of love. Vikings seen through the eyes of a Japanese man gives all kinds of unique outlooks.

Honestly, I am quite proud they find our cultures so aesthetically pleasing. As someone who grew up feeling that way about them it's nice to see that view given back

Totally agree! I've been a huge fan of Japanese history and culture since I was a kid (and before I really even knew what anime was, haha). It's pretty cool to think that there are Japanese people who feel the same way about our history.

As a Christian (even if Gnostic) I am super proud they enjoy our aesthetic. I find their ritual and behaviors incredibly inspirational
