Real nice work, didn't know you had a 3th one too. Guess you haven't finished the larger one you send to me. Hard to believe these are your first knives. You are way a head of me when I just started out.

You did a great hardening thank you.

Those can't be your first knives, way to nice. Tell the truth...you've been at that a while, right? Really good stuff, amigo.

Strange no one has said any thing about the hamons of the blades. You did a great job bringing them out.

Good work! Better than that of quite a few guys who've been at this for longer. But then, 18 years working with steel ought to leave a mark ;)

I made some knives. Smaller are from 5/32" 1095 steel stock, bigger are from 3/16" 80CRV2 steel stock.

Thank you Adrian. Karambit: How did you make the bevel? I would think a concave edge would be a heck of a bear to do.

I used only like 1/4 of edge on 1×30 harbor freight belt grinder first on the "platen". Then filed parallel to edge. Then I delicate ground on belt without platen. I just experimented. The belel is more flat like, it is not concave.

I think I get the idea. I've been wanting to make a karambit, but have been put off by making the edge. Always had me a little stumped by how to do it.
