The US commercial version has some changes from the one that's been in use by the Israeli military. One big change being the barrel (to accommodate our 16" minimum length requirement to avoid sbr classification). I imagine that's where the problem is (the new barrel or it's manufacture, not the particular length), just guessing though. But I'll return the x95 to my mental back burner and move on to some other toys until they get it sorted.

I'm still waiting to see Tavor prices go down now that the X95 is out.

if only southpaws had such choices They make left handed versions, and you can send em to IWI and they will convert a right handed one to left handed.

The Desert Tech MDR might be worth the wait.

Yeah, that's far more accuracy than I'm currently capable of anyway. It would just bother me to get this one when they will likely be making some tweaks to resolve any issues, and I'd rather have one with the bugs worked out. I'll leave it on the back burner for now as I'm more interested in the upcoming V2 SIG MPX anyway.

Ordered one in .300 Blackout. Been waiting for about 12 weeks now lol. But, at least it's giving me enough time to stock up on ammo and mags for when it finally DOES arrive.

I'm going to throw a spanner in the gearbox, the video shows the sight picture but there is no movement from recoil

Hey morningtar7, post some pics and impressions when you get it. I've bumped this down my list and now want a SIG mpx when they come out in 4.5 inch or 6.5 inch first.
Hey Aussie-rabbit, The video isn't being shot through the optic on the rifle, the crosshair is a camera filter or video enhancement done in editing.

brotherbanzai- Will do. I've been handling them at work and so far, I love the ergo's and controls compared to the SAR 21. WAY more user friendly, and mag changes are a breeze. Mine has been on order since mid May, so whenever it arrives, I'll certainly post a detailed review. Again, mine is chambered in .300 Blackout, and will be among the very first shipped.
As far as accuracy is concerned, it's perfectly acceptable for a CQB/Intermediate range carbine. 2-3 MOA is better than your average sub $1,100 AR and I'd hardly consider it a deal breaker. We're still talking Minute of Internal Organs at 400 yards. Hell, Ive shot very few sub MOA AR's under the $1,500 range (which is what the street price for the X95 is) and most of those AR's were custom builds with White Oak Armament barrels shooting 77gr SMK's.
