What is with this series of grimdark fairy tale movies? A few were watchable for humor, but it gets old fast and most of them are just terrible. They also bomb all over the place, but keep getting made anyway.

Eh, I've seen worse (anyone remember Nick Cage's "Season of the Witch"?)... seems OK, wouldn't mind watching it. And, it premieres on my birthday to boot! lol

I generally like Vin Diesel, and this category of fantasy films as well. I never have high expectations. It COULD be really bad, but I'll probably see it at some point. That looks like the girl from Game of Thrones ("You know nothing, Jon Snow!"). I think she's cute and filled out her role well in GoT, so that is another plus in my book. Mind you, I watched the trailer with no sound (I'm at work), so they could have been using Dr. Seuss-speak, but it looked decent.
