Axes, axes get your axes here. Everyone needs a fallen axe.
Maybe one of these days I will get my personal axes posted. The strange none of them were made by me.

Hey, Avery. What's that double bit all steel(?) in the first picture. Nice collection, by the way. Oh yeah, and love the "latest axe head" That one was made by my neighbor around the time I got married. A battle axe to fight the ol battle axe, lol. It's damn near 20 years old and still holds up well. Thanks for the compliments,

I'll bite :D I love axes of all shapes and sizes. Two of my modern hawks. The Vietnam tomahawk by Cold Steel and its more modern little brother, the SOG Fast Hawk. Neither of these have seen much use, but my old man's Fast Hawk is surprisingly effective in the woods. A little further back. Top to bottom is a Cold Steel Viking Axe (made an ash handle for it), Cold Steel pipe hawk (my #1 camping axe), my Viking axe by Fallen (awesome), an Allen foundry shipbuilders axe (shame its stainless - cut the poll off to shed weight) and a heavily modded MRL danish hand axe. I carved a bit of knotwork into the dane axe haft, just for squints and wiggles. Since the length of the dane axe is frequently debated, I went with a safe bet and made it the same length as a similar axe found in a grave in (IIRC) Finland. Shorter than many make theirs, but more manageable than longer hafts IMO. Utilitarian ones as well.

Nice ! I like the knotwork, planning on doing exactly the same on one of my Fallen axes when I have the time ! Like you, I love my CS Pipehawk, really practical,it gets taken away more than anything else I own. Nice elk antler :)

Also have the CS Norse hawk, with hemp cord wrap. Feels amazing. And, have the CS Spike hawk, with a carved bog-oak stain handle. Both of the heads are polished. Damned computer won't let me take photos or anything. Attachments:

I'm more of a sword man so this is all I have for axes. Do want to get a larger Viking / Dane axe, maybe I'll check out the Black Friday sales for one. You had to do this to me didn't you, just placed an order for a Viking / Dane axe. I did hold off for two days though.
