Axes like swords flow in and out of my possession. These pics were taken several years ago, I'll try to list whether it's mine or was passing through. Top row- Windlass Dragon Slayer 2nd- left to right- Modern Middle Eastern axe customized and mounted on a steel haft, cord wrap under leather Another Modern Middle axe customized with similar grip to the above 3rd - Lewis and Clark Expedition hawk 4th - This axe head was a Hanwei Hero's Axe head (yeah the Double Bit) One blade was cut off, mounted on a double bit axe handle that was shaped and dyed. The head was pinned with nail heads that were decorated and the brass by the pins are actually belt mounts hammered to form around the pins 5th - Brass head I mounted and added pins to - Cold Steel Hawk 6th - Avery Piece Poll hawk 7th Windlass Top row- I believe this was an old Windlass head I mounted to make a Housejarl's axe 2nd row- Windlass Crusader's axe- I don't have this one anymore 3rd row - Unknown axe remount- another I don't think I have anymore 4th row - Left to Right Ron Wilson Tomahawk ( had this one since the late 70's) next another Avery Pierce hawk this one w/ a spike 5th - Left to right- Windlass bearded axe next an Allan Axe hexagonal hawk 6th- this axe is not mine just holding it, it was a contest prize on another forum that did get off the ground and will be offered on an upcoming contest on that other forum - the maker happens to be a member here but wished to remain anonymous 7th - L Diggers hawk I have a others, I'll have to dig them out and add them later

Only one so far: CRKT Kangee T-Hawk! For the price of around 60,- Euros a considerable piece of hardware; touched up with glued securing cordwrap just under the head plus some old sageo stuff on the handle area. 1055 steel head, hickory handle...nice!

Only one: That is a subtly beautiful axe. I like it. Did you make it? Or did you buy it somewhere?

Nice collections! Here are two of my current faves. The A&A Dane and really tight one handed G style from H&B Forge sold through vikingshield. The shield is one of their basic plywood ones fronted with stretched and formed rawhide. Once my hip gets better I'm going to be doing more fun things with these. The Dane is really fast in the hand and can be used like a longsword, but can do a few things no longsword ever could. My only complaint is the head was not well secured from the shop, so I had to beef it up and add some epoxy. The H&B, in contrast, is made by axe people and the head is very, very secure. It would have to be cut free and either burned out or drilled out. If you see one of their viking style axes on vs it's absolutely worth a c note. They appear to make them as a side venture to their utility axes. I'd rank quality on par with Grandsfors Bruks.

I only have a couple axes currently. An antique True Temper Double bit that I rehung the end of last year. And my Wetterlings Forester's Fine axe.

Here's most of mine. No surprise they are all Fallen made axes. There are 2 missing - one is somewhere in my garage but I can't find it (it's looks most like the middle one), the other is in the mail and will be here soon. I also have some run of the mill log splitting axes from CanTire but those aren't worth including.

Chris don't remember selling you all of those. Customs must be holding up the other one thought you would got it by now.
