For me it is a combination of both Film and Book, I would say a third of my collection are fantasy inspired swords. I try not to sacrifice function to get the form as functionality is important. Here are some of Fantasy swords Atlantian Warrior and Fable Blades In the Name of Crom Next is my take on Drizzit's Icingdeath and Twinkle My Wheel of Time Warder sword I'm thinking of naming this one Justice. This Jody Samson Seaward sword is probably my favourite sword. Stormbringer, Mine just arrived this week but I don't have any photos of it yet. edit..... here is a quick photo of mine next to an Albion knud for size. Albion call this one their Discerner sword but to me it can only be Excalibre. Below are a couple more fantasy swords though not from any movie or book that I know of. I don't want to photo bomb this thread too much but these are my favourite so far though a few more are on the way.

Nice collection DeepbluedaveI've made most of the ones I dreamed of from my young years, and of those my King of Castle Grayskull is the saddest to be lacking. But I do have still my take on the Atlantean, thanks to brotherbanzai and that is right there with my He Man dreams, better in some ways :-) Probably number 1 on my dream radar. Though I'd love to still have one of my Father's Swords though. The Braveheart sword is another tugger of my heartstrings, and I made it as my 4th or 5th sword. As such it wasn't in the ballpark of what I could do now, and I look forward to one day making another...

I'll just leave this here... I spent my whole life wanting this sword and finally got the chance to design it and work with Brendan Olszowy to create a real-world vision of what the Master Sword from The Legend of Zelda franchise could be... That's a nice bit of sword porn to leave lying around ;-)

Also, I always wanted a witcher sword... but by "witcher" sword I meant any longsword and well, I do have now! About three to be more precise...

But I do have still my take on the Atlantean, thanks to brotherbanzai . This has to be the best looking Atlantean out there, the extra length on the blade just makes it so much better than the rest, if you ever decide to sell Brendan give me a call.

I'll bear it in mind Dave, but dont hold your breath. I'm super happy with the results of that sword. Very proud to own it 😊 You may also notice I gave the grip a slightly concave profile and thickness, I hate straight grips. And I've never waxed the bronzes after patinating them, In hopes of someday achieving some gnarly verdigris. Along with the antiqued blade patina will one day be an honest atlantian...
