So I'm trying to deside between getting an albion Crecy with brown fittings and a green grip or a Christian Fletcher border watch with a green grip and runes in the fuller. I'd love to hear everyone's opinion's on both swords.

I say take the crecy, and tell me where to get the Borderwatch! But seriously, for me it is definitely the borderwatch for sure.

I have a Crecy and it is a good sword. The CF version has a little more grip space. I guess it depends on if you want a fantasy sword or a period sword.

I want both eventually but have to pick one now.

Easily the borderwatch for me. I find the crecy a bit too plain jane; I do appreciate its simple crisp lines but at that price point I'd rather have something with a little more flair.

Borderwatch. It takes a great sword and makes it &^%$ing epic.

I'm thinking about getting a Crecy now, there's a green one ready to be shipped and ordering a border watch in a few months. Then if I can't keep both just pick one to sell. What do you guys think?

Depends what you want to do with it. For actual use I prefer the Crecy, but the Borderwatch looks much nicer. So if you are going to be doing a lot of cutting go with the Crecy but if it is mostly for display go with the Borderwatch.

I prefer the Crecy. Different strokes for different folks.

I also prefer the Crecy. The Borderwatch, while fantastic, isn't what I would be looking for in a Dunedain/ranger sword.

The semprini is I don't prefer either. I think both look perfect for what they are. If I go with the border watch. I don't know if adding runes would screw up the sleek look the fuller gives.

I say Crecy. I've owned both and while the borderwatch is an awesome sword, the Crecy is the more appealing sword to my eye.

I'm also considering getting another custom from Ernie instead or saving up and getting a Brescia Spadona.

How much extra grip space does the border watch have compared to the Crecy?

I'm not sure the number... but I have large hands that feel cramped on the Crecy, and perfect on the Borderwatch.

I still can't pick which one I like more. The Crecy would look great next to a phat bastard and the border watch would look great next to orchrist brenno did.
