That first design was completely my invention and is something of a cross between a dussak, falcata, and messer, while still keeping the point in line for good thrusts.
I'm not fond of the look, but I designed it with function in mind.
(I'll get a better pic today)
edit: About the thumb ring - good job for noticing I made it left handed ;D. Sort of had to though as that how I draw all of my swords - I hold up my left hand in the apropriate grip and draw the sword around that. Took me ages to get that ring right.

Hey Ramm, very nice. I like that Formigny. Pointy for the thrust, but wide enough for some massive cutting. Looks like it'd be a beast though.

That's sort of why I left most of them blank - if there's any particular interest THEN I'll go back and do the detailed sketches. So I'll go work that out for you

Nice work Ramm. Im particularly fond of the Koln, milan, torino, and whatever you call #1. That crecent shaped pommel would be deadly. "The blade isn't the only part of a sword." Godfrey, Kingdom of Heaven.

Many sincere apologies adam, I had forgotten!

Overall - 43 in blade - 34 in width - 2 in hilt - 7.8 in handle - 4.5 in

#16 is wicked! If I owned it I would reverse the grip for a right handed person... Like me!
