Yeah the sussex is my favorite too (simplicity counts I say! ) and as an add on to Mr. Clyde, as opposed to shootermike and tsafa who are quite learned in the histories of western swords, I'm just a regular shmoe who thinks that's an awesome sword. I guess my point is, it is an "anybody" blade, like the Zetsurin from musashi swords.

Two more designs: A large type XIII greatsword type of thing and A small but very beautiful type XIX with thumb ring and transitional hilt - for Adam -------- another update: I'm going to leave the swords pretty bare bones for now, meaning that I'm going to limit the different views and all of the data involved. If Clyde (or someone else) wants to bring these into the steel, I'll finish up the designs. For now, there isn't really any reason to add such detail, so these are all going to be just basic sketches for possible swords. Gen2 can use what they want, as I've said before

You're designing a sword for ME. Of course I'm interested. You should name it the "Adam" or something. Or you could use a play off of my middle name, which is actually a *GREAT* adjective.
It's 'Royal' just so you know.

I don't speak italian, but I do love their cheeses in particular, which go well with another of my favorite of favorite foods: Pastas.
But really, cheese is cheese.
Bleu, Gorgonzola, Jack, Mozzarella, Provolone, Parmesan, Romano, Cheddar... they're all good.
C'est pour vous, mes fromages... Je t'aime comme un tres gros homme qui adore le saindoux!
(sorry, just wanted to jump on the foreign language bandwagon...)

Anyway, since it is practically your sword, does the name do it honor?
edit: just for adam:

Rammstein, I love the designs. Well most of em anyways. If you wouldnt mind Id like to take a whack and making some in the near future once we finish the forge at our shop. We are first attempting to set a record(im not thrilled about it, but the others are and im the only one who knows how to do it) and beacuse of that our forge is taking longer than expected due to its quite ungodly size. After that is said and done, I would be honored if we could do one.

Heimdal, take what you want, I post these so they can be made . Hopefully you'll make a great piece! Another note: Sorry everything is taking so freaking long to uplaod...yes I've finished. Ever noticed how once a job gets done something breaks? Well, apply that to my scanner ;D

Hey Ram, have you put any of your stuff into CAD?
I know a few 2d and 3d programs and would be happy to put your designs into hardline drawings, scaled and full size so they could be easier to make.
Let me know Ram, I will post a quick sword I drew a few weeks ago so you can get an idea.
