Well gents...got my Rob Miller scimitar-like blade back from Regenyei-Armory where they made a grip to my specifications - and i must say i am pleased! The grip had to be quite thin to not destroy the elegant appearance of the blade; and they did just fine IMHO. Its a quite thin grip, but no problems with gloves, and cord-wrapping has a nice deep-red colour and a good natural feeling. The wooden grip beneath the wrapping was made of beech. I will most definitely do an order for a sword with them in the near future!
