The Albion Europe swords are way more expensive than the Albion US. This is coming from someone who lives in Germany but is paid is US dollars. :-( When Germany had the DM, life was much better than with the Euro.
Albions are nice swords and are comparable to some of the customs I have bought over the years. In a couple cases, the Albions were nicer overall than the customs.
Many of mine were purchased from the original buyer. Check the classifieds to see if one comes up for a reasonable price or check out the Squire Line.

I saw a few that I recognized, and some that I've seen & probably should remember; but I don't have the amount of experience that a lot of the other members do. I know you said that details would follow; so I'll be checking back. (Having recently done this myself, I understand that identifying them takes more time than posting the pictures...which is probably part of the reason I haven't jumped into my folders)

I like your collection and you cannot stop me!
I see a few I own. William Swiger has often said that some of his favorite swords have nothing to do with their price. I agree. I think you have some good stuff!

That is a nice collection, and it's the passion for swords that counts. By the way those floor stands are very neat and if I counted correctly 1 of them can hold 24 swords. You have nice variety of different swordtypes, I like it. Hanwei EMSHS is one of my favorite euro swords, and I like your rewrap. It's one sword that people seem to always customize. Can't wait to see more pics of the individual swords.

Nice Collection. I also liked some of the Gundums. I used to build the MG and PG kits all the time. I had to box mine up since I just have too many collections and not enough room. Also, was that a Raider-X from Macross/Robotech on one of your shelves? I have a huge collection of Macross Valkyries and such and its always cool to see another collector.

Hey Schwarz, you have some very nice blades (far from being unworthy)!
I noticed you have a Kasto Arms-Armor sword; how do you rate the quality of that sword for sparring? I have been tempted to get a couple of their swords but there is not much info found and others boards are rather skeptical.

You have a lot of good swords here, Schwarzbaer, where do you keep them? do you have a dedicated room or are they just positioned around your place>

I would redo the grip if I got one like Sean's that he used to have.

Yup... the grip is crap on those swords... but the Gen 2 Chaos really is a TOUGH beater of a sword. Mine cut just about everything with almost nothing so much as a scratch. I even smashed it into a 4x4 a couple times (on accident) no damage at all. The Purple grip and scabbard treatment Brian K did on mine was pretty awesome... I still kinda miss that sword.

And now that beast is mine, and i have chosen a name for it: behold "Fenrisúlfr"! My first (and most probably only John Lundemo sword as he refuses to answer on order requests...pity); a big, yet elegant Morrigan variation which i traded with our Bill Swiger. I am very impressed of the overall quality and craftmanship; that blade looks almost Albion-like, the grip-wrapping, the bronze fittings...awesome!

And here some more new stuff, courtesy of our Big Bill Swiger, without saya, but hey...A GIFT! Huawei Unokubi-Zukuri katana with wave-themed fittings...very nice, and i like that blade style a lot. Fit & finish of fittings, grip wrap, habaki alignment and same panels are mediocre though...wrapping is a little loose, same panels show some wood...etc. MAN, IT WAS FREE!!! But really, the blade...flawless!

Okay, I think we've pretty well established you gots the bug pretty bad. Stay away from Swiger! ;) Diverse and pretty good aesthetic value on most of it. Looking at the photos I see a fellow member of the damned. ( You have the "collector" gene. Booohahahahaha....)

Well, i decided to rework the thread due to permanent shifting towards more valuable items...yeah i ended up like most other collectors and started to exchange quantity for quality; most of my cheapos have gone! So here are some pics of the newer, better stuff... From top to bottom: - Unknown Atrim with CF grip and fittings - Albion Squire Line Bastard with custom grip and plain "storage" scabbard by our Bryan Heff - Raven Armoury Elven Longsword - Albion Squire Line GSOW MK1 with custom grip and plain "storage" scabbard by our Bryan Heff - Valian Armoury Bristol; here you can see what Sonny is capable of... - Lutel Longsword model 15010, sharpened - Albion Talhoffer - Christian Fletcher Borderwatch with Albion Crecy blade - John Lundemo two-handed Morrigan...my "Fenrisulfr"! - Zombie Tools Deuce MK2 and Apokatana in satin finish - Baltimore Knife & Sword Fantasy Scimitar "Daisho", sharpened - Brother Banzais prototype Dragon Viking...what this guy can achieve with bronze is unbelievable... More to follow...the rest are basically the lower-end survivors... By the way, who knoes how to change a thread/post title?
