There are scientists working on re-animating dead tissue samples. Actually I think they can already do this step as I heard about them working on this a few years ago.

in the late '70s early '80s the c.i.a. sent analists to dominican republic to gather intel. on the voodoo practice of zombie making and after that all official records where classifide or destroied so what little public record is left is vague and sketchy at best

The zombie thing, the voodoo thing, come on. That was not actual living dead. You could make the ingridients they used for "Zombification" with over the counter medication. They become "Zombies" Or slaves, when you ruin there mind. They were controlled with drugs. I learned the recipe, I forgot sadly, it would be interesting to try.
In order to control someone, attack the mind, that is pretty much why I ended up on probation, I wasn't smart with it, but I could manipulate people, haha.

the point is us tax dollars went to this ....... and I also heard about the re-animating of dead tissue ...... but I think it was for coma patiants with brain damage ...... the point is weather by bomb, bug, or drug a zombie apocolyps could happen ..... remember the road to hell is paved with the best intentions

Haha, so very true! We humans are pathetic things, aren't we?
Really, we humans are sooo pathetic. I just like to sit back and observe people, it seems this happens to everyone at some time. Even if it is a small little mishap, good intentions can sometimes lead to regret.
I know that one...all too well. *Sigh*

A little part of me wants it to happen, but a huge part of me says "Be VERY afraid of zombies!"
When people speak with me, they do not think "Sal, that guy thats afraid of zombies".
I can't even watch a zombie horror without getting the crud scared out of me! I am an extremely paranoid person!

There are diseases that cause an affect like zombification, porphyria combined with these other diseases will cause zombification but not of an undead nature. The Voodoo zombification works but I won't explain why, suffice to say that it doesn't destroy the mind because salt undoes the effects. Also with all the chemical warfare who knows what is out there and what it can do?

just cause we think people are out to get you doesn't mean they aren't Just because I'm paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get me. Can't help it, I am just paranoid, lookin' over my shoulder a lot. Because of the experiences I have had, thats why. I have lived enough to call myself old, lol. Experienced things that no one my age should experience...It's a crazy world, lol.

Yeah, I kinda got screwed over by the state myself. Depressed for a lonnnnnng time, 19 months probation. Yeah, really sucks. The weird thing is, The Japanese sword kinda saved me, if it wasn't for that, I would not be here.

my old lady thinks I'm nuts for wanting to make sure my girls grow up tuff and know how to defend them selves ..... but real I've seen some of the worst "humanity" has to offer and real I'd be a bad parent if I didn't do every thing to prepare them

Yeah, I hear ya. The whole reason I got into martial arts was because I was depressed. I needed something to make me "Different"
Because everyone I knew wore the same smile, laughed at the same exact things, I was falling into the most generic crowd of people. I felt like my voice wasn't being heard. Martial arts are a great form of expressing yourself, and they allow you to get into shape and allow you to defend yourself. You wanting your kids to grow up, knowing some form of self defense would be good for them in the long run.

Indeed, some things I needed long ago, haha.
You can't draw ALL morals from martial arts, some can only be learned through experiences that they themselves endure.

Hehe, yeah.
How old are your kids then? Old enough to be taken in by an art? Or have you got them started already?
Aikido sounds like a prime choice, grappling allows for a person to be taken down without killing them, like you'd see in karate. I know a sensei that switched from karate to aikido because all the moves involved terribly painful attacks, or just fatal.
