Not sure... but I think I like the old one more. Still, the ones I really dig are the Spit and the D-Captain.

I like the blade shape, but otherwise, I'm indifferent to the changes; I like the looks of the d'Capitan, Spit, and Reaper better.

I prefer the old version...but, since I don't like the T'ai Fighter, I'm not surprised. The T'ai was the replacement for the Phalanx, so it isn't a shocker that they carried over the new blade style to the Deuce.

I really like that blade shape. Not crazy about a two-hand grip on a sword that short.
I'd love to see that blade profile married with a single-hand grip of about 5" length, with more distal taper in the last half of the blade so it'd handle like a good single-hander.
What's with the Phalanx being discontinued? I ordered one the week before it was taken down? Are they still being made? Or could I get this blade profile instead?

The Phalanx was discontinued, but I can't imagine that they wouldn't fill all existing orders. The Phalanx is replaced by the T'ai Fighter. They'd probably be willing to switch you to the current model, as long as your blade isn't started yet.

I'm not too keen on it,then again the Mk1 Deuce wasn't one of my favourite ZT blades.

Yeah, I like this new one better. Somehow it seems more elegant and no-nonsense, less fantasy-ish.
Here's hoping for a redesign of the Apokatana as well.

I quite like the blade but I'm not sure about and handle shape, ie that its not inline with the blade and it curved. Just trying to imaging how that would feel/handle.

How are they getting that worn look to their blades? Wondering if eventually the finish would start to wear off like blackening?
