Hi all,

Just a quick thread to try and gather some opinion on the Hanwei Tang Jian. From what I remember having been discussed before the sword has perhaps a poor construction and is potentially quite flimsy?

Personally I just quite like the blade as it reminds me of the green destiny sword.

Well, I had it in my hands (one of 2 originals), made by smith Guo in southern Taiwan. I'd had no use for such stuff, even if it were for free, lol.

There is also a Taiji sword with such a blade, looks nice, but suitable for forms only. Balance is not traditional, the whole thing a bit wobbly.
