Hello everyone, I'm a begginer practitioner in Iaido, and I'm loking for a Iaito that's an entry level one (if it could be called that...). Anyways, this is what I had in mind, since its price isn't too prohibitive. I'd like your opinion on it, and a possible review if anyone had a Iaito like this one. www.ninecircles.co.uk/Swords_and ... kusei.aspx Any help would be much appreciated!

Minosaka has been around for a long time and their products are very respectable entry-level iaito. They are a little lighter than most other iaito but it shouldn't be a problem unless you're purchasing a particularly long nagasa ( >2.40 shaku). Do you know the make of any of your dojo-mate's iaito? One of the advantages of studying with others is getting to briefly try and feel how different makes and lengths of iaito feel to you. Let us know if you have any questions and when you get your iaito we'd love to hear your thoughts on it with a review!

Hey Kindred, Do you go to a dojo? If so it would be best asking your instructors (they will give advice on the best length etc.), they may also know someone selling a second-hand iaito. If not, nine circles do have a good reputation, Tozando also have some entry level blades (I have a Tozando Iaito, for my review look at: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=3413) Good luck and whatever you get we could do with more Iaito reviews
