Has anyone dealt with or know anyone that has from these sellers? I found them on ebay and would like to know if their stuff is any good.
knightswords
swordsmith668
If this is in the wrong place, I appologize. I'm new here and still learning how this place works.

Here are the most recent reviews for swordsmith668: forum.sword-buyers-guide.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=13476forum.sword-buyers-guide.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=15996forum.sword-buyers-guide.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=13447forum.sword-buyers-guide.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=12918 I have no personal experience with swordsmith668, so my suggestion is to go by what you see and read in the above reviews. Please note there is some controversy about whether this vendor is affiliated with Ryanswords. The point being most have a low opinion of Ryanswords. It could be they are no longer affiliated, but once were. But it may open a can o' worms... I have not heard of knightswords, but their pics are watermarked with swordsmith668's name: www.ebay.com/itm/Clay-Tempered-UNOKUBI-ZUKURI-Blade-EAGLE-TSUBA-JAPANESE-SAMURAI-SWORD-KATANA-/181102830325?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2a2a91e2f5The swords and ads appear similar, so they very well could be the same vendor. However, swordsmith668 appears to be shipping from Long Quan, while knightswords ships from Shang Hai, so there may be some differences. The problem with eBay vendors is they frequently "borrow" each others pics and formats, and make new seller names for whatever marketing reasons. Could be the seller gets his swords from the same source as swordsmith668 and just thinks the words "knight" and "swords" will get him a lot of views. Personally, I'd shop somewhere reputable like Kult of Athena rather than mess with these sorts of eBay vendors. The marketing schemes on eBay tend to offend me and the swords people receive from eBay are often junk. On the other hand, KoA has low prices too, and is much easier to deal with if/when you have problems with what you receive... Hope this helps!

Thanks guys. Looks like I'll go with my gut feeling and research more. I never just jump in and buy anything, I try to do a mountain of research before committing to anything like this. I have a sword in mind I want to put together but finding all the right pieces is going to take a long time it seems.
