I love the wrap on the Godfred model. That basket woven suede looks awesome. I bet it is a great grip too.

I love the first damascus model.
I have had the pleasure of handling both swords (I like an hour or so away from the Kult of Athena showroom, so I get to go play with swords, lol.).
The Godfred I handled felt bad in my hands. The woven leather wrapping felt dry and scratchy in my hands, not at all comfortable. Other than that, the sword looked beautiful.
The second sword was very nice as well, though I agree with the handle re-wrapping idea. I must say that the scabbard is junk though. (Of course, alot of higher end swords, *cough* Albion *cough* don't come with scabbards at all. So any scabbard is a good scabbard, no?)

the depeeka damascus viking has a kinda roman style to it i think.
and yea. ive heard depeeka swords (at least the "affordable" ones) are pretty poor quality
