.....I have a Darksword Armoury Henry V sword with the fancy scabbard with the belt/strap. One end of the belt has two 5/8" strips about 2 feet long and the other has a 2"x6" strap with two slots. Now what? The strips fit into the slots but I don't know how to secure them. :? Thanks!

......Like this: Note: the leather strips are too stiff to tie in a knot.

You're meant to thread the strips through from underneath, and then wrap them under the front, over the top and down in a simple belt knot.

Hi Mercedes,
It's actually quite simple. Take the tongues of the belt and slide them through the openings of the belt. hold both tongues and slide them underneath the belt and over the belt (do not tighten at this point). Slide both tongues into the loop and pull downwards.
