Hi there guys! I need a sword that is suitable for reenacting with a blade that will hold up to the rigors of reenacting and theatrical use. Any suggestions for sub $200 swords would be Appreciated. Thanks, Haka

Maybe the Hanwei practical line? They've got the practical viking, Norman etc which are all blunt swords with thick edges and a properly rounded tip to avoid injury, and they are all very springy and able to take some punishment vithout bending or breaking.

Thanks for your quick response. I have checked those swords out but I can't find a good review on any of them except for the viking sword.

Oh. Bushido, I just saw your review of the Norman Sword. Thanks for posting that, I feel stupid for not seeing it before. lol! Well, I think the practical line should do the trick then! Thanks! If anyone else has reviews of the Hanwei practical line let me know! Thanks!

Haha, no worries. Sorry for not posting it myself, I'm out and about at the moment and searching the forums from my smartphone isn't the easiest thing. I hope you find a nice sword, I tried finding a good source for the practical line swords but wasn't able to. They seem to be back ordered at Kult of athena... Oh well, they'll probably be back in stock soon!
Cheers!
