I know there is already a detailed review of this, but I just want to give my quick opinion on it.
Recently got it from a forum member for a good price, and it just arrived to day.

My god is this a heavy sword. Nicely balance, but there is some weight to it. It's definitely beautiful, and the leatherwork is better than I expected coming from a DSA sword. Feels like a very heavy, well built blade that I would want to just beat things with, but it's still manageable. The integrated leather is actually really nice, though as a whole, I'd go out and get this redone with just black leather overall. Other than that, good blade, tough and heavy like other DSA swords I've handled, and it just feels powerful. I'm going to sharpen this and do some test cuts with it, and let's just see how that goes.

The Guardian is a monster cutter assuming one does their part.
Out of the crop of older DSA sword models, this one seems to consistently garner the same impressions and views.

Mine still has the secondary bevels that it came from the original purchaser with, and I don't mind it a bit. That dude will blow through a shipping pallet like no ones business. I figure why monkey with it if it works.

Good buy on your part, you got a sword that should please you with its ability to take on tough targets and not balk a bit. Enjoy your new purchase!!

Everyone has different tastes...

For me I love the shape of the guard on the Guardian... combined with the wide fat blade... it just looks like a cool, massive barbarian sword to me.
