Another lovely review, Dave, sad the WE was a disappointment. But at least the experience gives an opportunity to teach us know-nothings a great lesson on these impressive weapons. ...It might just be me, but I would have though that the "the continuous controversy of point versus thrust" would have run its course fairly quickly. Seems there'd be common ground between the contentious factions.

How did I miss this one?
I am not quite as heartbroken over this review as I might have been, as (looks around furtively) the 1853 always seemed "common" somehow, and lacking the elegance one comes to expect from sabers, or sabres, or szabli.
To slip into the vernacular, however: Bummer, dude.

I'm starting to see a pattern with WE. I guess the moral of the story is stay away from WE. It's a shame. They have a variety that you don't find elsewhere.
