Not sure about that...I found the link, bookmarked it and posted it. The book is readable online or printable. Or just save as a favorite to reference when needed.

You don't have to subscribe like a magazine subscription where you pay $ and sign up for more issues or have to give them a credit card # or any kind of scam...
It's not like that. Scribd is a sharing site for books. To join (and be able to download files from them), all they ask you to do is upload a file from your computer to their library.
I've uploaded several things I've written; however, you could upload any PDF you want really. Could be a book (like this one) or an excerpt of a book... or even a poem you wrote yourself or a how-to manual on taking a sword apart and putting on a new tsuba. Can be anything.
Anyway, you can log in if you have a Google account or Facebook account, so no other passwords to remember and all that.
I've been using it for years and haven't had any issues or ever paid them any $.
If you are into obscure stuff (and martial arts and swordplay and katanas and such counts as obscure to most people) or any kind of other hobby or subject and you don't have $ to spend at Amazon buying the book itself, sometimes you'll find it on Scribd for free...

I put up a nifty grit comparison pdf. Nice table approximating the difference in grit for people interested in polishing.
