I'd love to see how many tatami mats it could go through, and it seems like quite a good price as far as Albions go (Albion Europe prices anyway).

Beyond sad I was not able to get a pre-order for this sword... this is far and away my favorite Albion.

This is now up on Albions site, though I an a little unsure if that is the best color to promote sales of this fine looking sword, would be nice with an antiqued finish with a half wire grip.

Hello Folks,
Some of you may recognize me from myArmoury. I thought I'd stop by to check the place out. I received my Maximilian about two weeks ago and it's an impressive sword, one of the best of its kind on the production market. As soon as I pulled it out of the box it became one of my favorites from Albion. For a sword of its size it exhibits excellent handling qualities and the fit and finish is typical Albion. It's a keeper.
