Anybody else wish MRL would keep one sword for the whole weekend rather than swap out each day? I'm sure they'd sell a whole lot more of the Rovens than they did the vambraces and seax. 24 hours is a short time to decide on a sword especially when you gamble what the next day will be, unless you go with the current odds and expect nothing else for Saturday and Sunday.

I suspect that MRL actually looses money on the deal-of-the-day and use it mostly as advertising and to make people visit their site daily. Consequently, it is to their benefit that they don't sell tooo much of their DoD items. I bet they make more money off people buying the DoD and then going "hrm... I wonder what I could get combined shipping with"? I know I've often gone to KultofAthena to buy ONE specific item, and leave with 4 (the other 3 costing much more than my original objective )

MRL use to leave the weapon for the entire weekend. I prefer their newer 24 hour sale as they cover more items.

The longer you think about "do I really need this sword ?" the more likely you are to not purchase it. If it's only up for a short time, you'll probably pull the trigger.
