I went ahead and grabbed one, figured I'd give it a shot for that price. Plus I was already buying a couple of steampunk items as Christmas gifts for some friends that are into that so I got the free shipping too.

As it turns out the landed price is $182 in AUD - They then sent me this :
"Hello and thank you for the order you placed with us. All international orders are reviewed by our shipping manager for cost accuracy. The shipping charges for your order will be as follows.
UPS priority $210.35 UPS economy $195.04
I didn't ask for UPS - and with those rates I'm not likely to. So I sent them the invoice for the last sword vis.
1 ( 88200202 ) KING HENRY CEREMONIAL SWORD-NO-DO NOT SHARPEN @ $109.00/ea = $109.00
Shipping: $52.95 Discount: $10.90 Discount: $10.90 TOTAL: $151.05
So now I'm waiting on a reply
Also did anyone else get " KING HENRY CEREMONIAL SWORD-NO-DO NOT SHARPEN" I'm a little nonplussed by the "Do Not Sharpen"

I received my sword of Homildon Hill today. I'm actually fairly impressed considering I paid $119.00 for it. Not whippy, decent construction and even the cord wrapped grip was decent. At some point I'll get around to re-wrapping but for now its all good.
Mine had the Do Not Sharpen on it too. Not a big deal since i ordered mine that way. Probably just their way of making sure they don't ship a sharp to someone that ordered a blunt. I just can't make myself pay for them to sharpen it considering I'll just end up re-working the entire thing anyway to get the edge to my liking. At least that way I can avoid the bevels they sometimes leave.

Disappointed ! - "Hi Jeff. As of September 2013 Australia has changed their shipping requirements with standard Parcel post boxes. They will no longer allow boxes over a certain dimension to be shipped into the country by the Post office. I have no idea why. But the sword is large enough that it has to be shipped by UPS. I am sorry for the inconvenience. " Well that is disappointing, please cancel my order as the shipping cost is excessive and credit my account. Perhaps for those of us in Australia you could note these postal changes on your website. Have a great Christmas

Monday 12/9 Vertical Striped Pirate Pants- Wouldn't it have been more efficient to have them horizontal striped, then when they're captured and put in prison, they'd already have their uniform. www.museumreplicas.com/p-415-pirate-pants.aspx

Update for Aussies - the box dimensions can not exceed 10x4x42. (inches) so USPS to Aussie Post is $57.95 inside those dimensions from Museum Replicas - I suspect Aussie Post is getting a bit picky these days and this will flow across all suppliers . There are some other options so if your looking at something long and pointy coming into Australia post a message in general to see if you can bundle with others. Meanwhile Museum Replicas is trying very hard to get something across the water in time to put under someone special's tree. (Pssst thank you Lori)

Actually not a bad sword. I bought one a year or so ago. Ended up selling it as it was just not my thing. For me, I found it to be too light without any blade presence. It gets good feedback from folks who have them.
