Wish I had the cash, my daughter *loved* that sword when we had it from Sr. Swiger for my brother... It was a nice blade for a windlass.

I think they just put a secondary bevel on the blade. I think Marc posted a long time ago a tour of MRL and it showed the guy sharpening their swords. Definately not as sharp as it could be, but probably sharp enough to go through bottles and tatami mats.

Yeah. Too bad they don't ship to Poland. They don't even seem to recognize the country... I've been eyeing some of the stuff in the thread, but this one is a steal.

You can get it in order to practice your sharpening skill. The way I look at it, it's small and managable, and rather cheap so it'll be perfect as a practice item.
