OMG!!! EEEeeeeeeeek; the crocodile D'Artagnian Main Gaucheasaurus! This bad boy was a steal at $99.00 at KoA. Well worth the $69.00 if you're interested in the period.

MRL also has some of their better discontinued swords under their Last Chance section. Worth looking at.

Damn I wish I'd seen that Pavia deal. I'd have taken one of them for $142.

I got one of these last time they were on sale, it's a nice piece... way lighter than I expected, so it's good for costuming. Can't beat it at this price.

Not bad, that's one of the better-looking of the Robin Hood swords.

$99? Seriously? You almost HAVE to buy it.

That is definitely a great deal for that price... what, something like a 70% discount? They must be trying to move it out of stock or something! Hmm, anybody know if KOA does price-match on DOTD's?

I don't think so. either way even if they did it would be the same cost all around. shipping and sharpening. especially since koa uses the mrl service on windlass models. $18(shipping)+$18(sharpening)at both koa and mrl.

My only caveat toward buying it is that it had a screw-on pommel. I've owned a few Windlasses with screw-on pommels that did fine with epoxy or peening them, but I have also owned them that were a nightmare to do anything with due to really, really thin tangs. But at the price, it would be worth getting and finding out!
