Friends don't let friends buy butted mail. That depends on the mail and to what purpose it’s bought. No doubt about it riveted mail is better.

Oh man, that's what I get for being impatient! Just got this one in from Amazon the other day. Oh well, didn't pay for it, as it came via birthday gift cards. Haven't taken the shipping grease off yet, but this is a cool sword! I don't find it heavy at all, whether I'm using it two- or one-handed. Two-handed is ideal, but one-handed is no problem if you choke up as close to the blade as you can. The copper accents are neat, too.
I didn't realize this one was on close out. It doesn't seem like its been around for long. Anyway, just got it, but really like it. Highly recommended. I'm ready to be that guy in the background, following King St. Louis IX, or David, or Joshua, or whoever!

Was going to get the Del Tin version eventually but went ahead and got this one. They are different but not over 200.00 plus different. ;-)

Yeah, I think Del Tin has a couple models that are slightly different looking, one from the other. I know they have one where the bottom of the hilt kind of turns up. Didn't really like the look of it. I like the look of the Windlass much better, and the price can't be beat. Good buy there, William! Hope you like it.

hmm do you guys think it would be hard to have a scabbard made for something like this? I think on something like this, the scabbard would have to be open most of the back. Sort of like what Zombie Tools does on a couple models. Would have a snap or something on the open back.
