That looks tempting, especially at $39.60. I am looking for something to go with my newly acquired hauberk. My instincts, along with the second reviewer’s comments, tell me no on this one. I need no additional warm clothing with my armour here in the tropics. I do need something to protect my surroundings against the oils on the hauberk as well as the hauberk itself from picking grit. I am looking hard at a white linen surcoat. Above all something that is cool and washable. Dry cleaning prices here are outrageous.

This is a nice hammer, for sure. Compact, sturdy. The only downside I found is that the square haft makes for a less-than ideal grip (for my hands at least). I sanded off the corners to make it more octagonal and like it much better. Overall its a nice piece. For the price, an excellent value.
