I've just finished a new sketch to list on my Unmade Fables page. www.fableblades.com/Unmade.htmlIt's just been swimming around in my head for ages and has reached critical mass - I had to put it down on paper. I've got all the bronze hardware picked, I know exactly how I'd like to make it, now I just need someone to make it for... The bronze Belt Decor panels feature Lions Passant. The guard has Fleurs de Lys at the quillion terminations in Jeffrey Sculptured bronze, and the pommel is a Jeffrey sculptured Lion's read roaring. Blade width is 62mm (2.5" across at the base, 33" long. Grip length is 7" (4.5/2.5) Is it your hand for which this sword was conceived???

Ooh, I want one. If white weren't so hard to keep clean, I'd want the suspension system in white and the fleur-de-lys on it a piece of metal in gold. Then it could very well be the sword of a member of the Queen's Guard of Andor, specifically that of Elayne Trakand, whose sigil is the golden lily.

Very nice, Brendan. That's closer to how I imagined Rhindon than your last one.

How did you learn to make such excellent swords? Talent? Or were you a sculpture or something previously? Fantastic work dude.
