I was wondering, anybody here at the forum that owns the Savoy Signature Edition serie? I know that the bristol and the castille are one handed type swords, but the savoy is a bastard sword i tough? is it the same like the Kriegschwert? qua handling etc? Or does the savoy is a lil bit lighter to the kriegschwert? Thank You

I may be wrong but I believe Dave Kelly has one with Malatesta fittings, and SwordFan has the standard Savoy I think. It is indeed a bastard sword, and lighter than the Kriegschwert.
Beyond that... beats me, sorry!

Dave Kelly and SwordFan have the standard version, Ghost has a savoy blade with Malatesta fittings.

Hi,
I am brand new to the forum and this is my first post but I have The Savoy on its way to me. It is my first real sword aside from the Hanwei Lionheart sword (cheap one handed sword although it is VERY tough, fully functional, and able to take lots of abuse). I ordered The Savoy a few weeks ago and am expecting it within the next week or so. I will post details about it (i will use the format I've seen on this forum before of when users have a new sword and want to post all the relevant information). Any other questions about the sword I will be happy to answer to the best of my knowledge once it arrives.
Thanks, Joe
